I chuckled to myself when I wrote that one... everyone should 1) get a regular STI panel and 2) get their recipes tested by two people before they hit *publish*!

Great post--I agree completely with all of your advice! And I have personally made 3 of the 7 dishes on your recent eats list (corn, tofu, compote) and can vouch for their greatness.

you must try the chocolate oblivion next! I'm thinking about doing her version in Baking Bible that uses the flourless chocolate cake as the middle layer between two other chocolate cakes... talk about decadent!

Yes, that cake looks insanely delicious. I need my husband to outgrow his recent β€œdeath by chocolate” phase, but my kids and I would totally devour this, so maybe we’ll make it when he’s out of town!
