I don't eat meat or dairy so my airline hack is to pre order the vegetarian oriental meal. It's an airline meal that actually has flavour! And vegetables, and tofu.

such a great hack! I always do that for international flights. sometimes I even ask for the vegan gluten-free option to make sure I don't get stuck with boring pasta with marinara sauce :)

This is very US-centric, the way their domestic airlines operate is cooked. Everyone else doesn’t get through security with their day destroyed and have to fight for a seat.

Truly! Then I won’t get lost trying to figure out where my damn exit in 5 miles is 😂 all you guys need to do is stop making everything in the sky an add-on, it’s crazy!

I want to start traveling more and definitely want to start being a little more advanced about what I pack as a snack, so this is helpful. I'm so tired of buying food in the airport.

Also loved the history of airline meals chart! I wonder what it was like, to be served gourmet meals in the sky....

Fun post. You’ve got me reminiscing about the days of (terrible) meals in coach, while simultaneously trying to forget how awful flying in and out of Newark is right now! 😩
